Founded and based in Minneapolis, MN, by three dedicated artisans, The Arts & Craft Initiative (T.A.C.I.T.) works to promote the art of handcraft. We carry out our mission by creating and nurturing connections between independent artisans and the community at-large. We believe the handmade life is the good life.
Our primary means of accomplishing our mission is through the process of organizing and hosting ARTISANS’ FAIRS that provide emerging artisans an opportunity to network with one another and to market their handworks directly to the community. For our purposes, handwork includes items that may require machinery in their creation as long as the artisan is the primary constructor.
Currently, T.A.C.I.T. has three locally grounded, exciting artisan opportunities: the , the HANDMADE HEARTFELT SPRING ARTISANS’ FAIR, CAFFETTO ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR (summer) and the HANDMADE HEARTFELT WINTER ARTISANS’ FAIR .
